DTC U0428:00 OR U0428:83 (ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Signal error from steering angle sensor
Detection condition	Error detected in signal from steering angle sensor via CAN communication
Fail-safe	Refer to "Fail-safe Function Table". (See DTC TABLE (ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) (US)) .)
Possible cause	DTCs are stored in the body control module (BCM). DTCs related to the steering angle sensor are stored. Body control module (BCM) malfunction
