DTC U0300:00 OR U2100:00 [SAS CONTROL MODULE] DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	VERIFY DTC OUTPUT STATUS Are any other DTCs output?	Yes	(See DTC TABLE (AIRBAG) (US) .)
1	VERIFY DTC OUTPUT STATUS Are any other DTCs output?	No	Go to the next step.
2	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION Perform the SAS control module configuration using the M-MDS. (See CONFIGURATION .) Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are the same Pending DTCs present?	Yes	Perform the repair completion verification.
2		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
Repair completion verification 1	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are the same Pending DTCs present?	Yes	Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN) MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW (US) .) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the SAS control module. Repair completion verification 1		No	Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification 2	VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are any other DTCs output?	Yes	Repair the malfunction part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE (AIRBAG) (US) .)
Repair completion verification 2		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
