Diagnostic Procedure

DTC U0155:41 OR U0155:82 [SAS CONTROL MODULE] DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Inspection Results Action
1 VERIFY OTHER SAS CONTROL MUDULE DTCs
  • Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  • Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Is DTC U3000:49 displayed?
Yes Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

No Go to the next step.
2 VERIFY BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) DTCs
  • Retrieve the body control module (BCM) DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Are any DTCs displayed?
Yes Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

No Go to the next step.
3 VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY
  • Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  • Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Is the same Pending DTC present?
Yes Replace the instrument cluster and perform the repair completion verification.

No DTC troubleshooting completed.
Repair completion verification PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION
  • Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  • Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Are the same Pending DTCs present?
Yes Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.

If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
No DTC troubleshooting completed.
