Diagnostic Procedure

DTC U0155:41 OR U0155:82 [SAS CONTROL MODULE] DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	VERIFY OTHER SAS CONTROL MUDULE DTCs Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Is DTC U3000:49 displayed?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC U3000:49 (AIRBAG) (US) .)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) DTCs Retrieve the body control module (BCM) DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) (US)] .)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Replace the instrument cluster and perform the repair completion verification. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
Repair completion verification	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are the same Pending DTCs present?	Yes	Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN) MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW (US) .) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the SAS control module.
