DTC B00C0:93, B00C1:93, B00C2:93 OR B00C3:93 [SAS CONTROL MODULE] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location B00C0:93: Seat weight sensor (LF) malfunction
B00C1:93: Seat weight sensor (LR) malfunction
B00C2:93: Seat weight sensor (RF) malfunction
B00C3:93: Seat weight sensor (RR) malfunction
Detection condition
WARNING:
  • Detection conditions are for understanding the DTC outline before performing an inspection. Performing an inspection according to only the detection conditions may cause injury due to an operating error, or damage the system. When performing an inspection, always follow the inspection procedure.
  • The SAS control module receives a seat weight sensor malfunction signal from the seat weight sensor control module.
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  • Seat weight sensor connector malfunction
  • Seat weight sensor control module connector malfunction
  • Open circuit in seat weight sensor following circuits:
    • Power supply circuit
    • Signal circuit
    • Ground circuit
  • Short circuit to body ground in seat weight sensor following circuits:
    • Power supply circuit
    • Signal circuit
  • Short circuit to power supply in seat weight sensor signal circuit
  • Short circuit to power supply in seat weight sensor signal circuit and following circuits:
    • Power supply circuit
    • Ground circuit
  • Seat weight sensor malfunction
  • Seat weight sensor control module malfunction
  • SAS control module malfunction
