DTC B00A0-09: Seat Weight Sensor Control Module Signal Output Unstable (Airbag) (Us): Outline

DTC B00A0:09 (AIRBAG) (US) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Seat weight sensor control module signal output unstable
Detection condition
WARNING:
  • Detection conditions are for understanding the DTC outline before performing an inspection. Performing an inspection according to only the detection conditions may cause injury due to an operating error, or damage the system. When performing an inspection, always follow the inspection procedure.
  • The SAS control module receives any of the following signals from the seat weight sensor control module.
  • Seat weight sensor control module internal malfunction
  • Occupant seat status signal does not have same value (unstable) continuously for specified number of times
  • Front buckle switch (passenger side) status signal does not have same value (unstable) continuously for specified number of times

  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  • Seat weight sensor malfunction
  • Communication error between seat weight sensor control module and SAS control module
  • Seat weight sensor control module malfunction
  • SAS control module malfunction
