WARNING:
- Detection conditions are for understanding the DTC outline before performing an inspection. Performing an inspection according to only the detection conditions may cause injury due to an operating error, or damage the system. When performing an inspection, always follow the inspection procedure.
NOTE:
- The seat weight sensor control module determines that an occupant is seated in the front passenger seat based on the load detected by the 4 seat weight sensors installed in the front passenger seat.
- If the seat weight sensors have been poorly installed, or there is seat distortion or seat deformation due to a strong impact such as in a vehicle collision, the seat weight sensor control module cannot correctly determine that an occupant is seated in the front passenger seat.
- The SAS control module receives a collision detection signal from the seat weight sensor control module.
