DTC B0095:11, B0095:13, B0095:87 OR B0095:96 [SAS CONTROL MODULE] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location B0095:11: Crash zone sensor (center) circuit short to body ground or power supply
B0095:13: Crash zone sensor (center) circuit open circuit or short to power supply
B0095:87: Signal reception error from crash zone sensor (center)
B0095:96: Crash zone sensor (center) internal malfunction
Detection condition
WARNING:
  • Detection conditions are for understanding the DTC outline before performing an inspection. Performing an inspection according to only the detection conditions may cause injury due to an operating error, or damage the system. When performing an inspection, always follow the inspection procedure.
  • Wiring harness between the crash zone sensor (center) and SAS control module has a malfunction
  • Crash zone sensor (center) has a malfunction
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  • Crash zone sensor (center) connector malfunction
  • Open circuit in crash zone sensor (center) signal circuit
  • Short circuit to body ground in crash zone sensor (center) signal circuit
  • Short circuit to power supply in crash zone sensor (center) signal circuit
  • Crash zone sensor (center) malfunction
  • SAS control module malfunction
