Steering Wheel Cover Removal/Installation

WARNING:
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)

  3. Remove the steering wheel bezel. (See STEERING WHEEL BEZEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the steering wheel. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
  5. Remove the steering shift switch. (With steering shift switch) (See STEERING SHIFT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ET6A-EL, ET6AX-EL] .) (See STEERING SHIFT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [EV6A-EL, EV6AX-EL] .)
  6. Pry the arrow areas shown in the illustration and detach the steering wheel cover pins and tabs.

  7. Pull the steering wheel cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and remove it from the steering wheel.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
