DTC P012F-00: ECT/Engine Oil Temperature - Correlation Error: Outline

DTC P012F:00 (PCM, SKYACTIV-G) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	ECT/Engine oil temperature: Correlation error
Detection condition	Any one of the following conditions is met, the PCM detects a circuit/range performance problem: The temperature detected by the engine oil temperature sensor after engine start is 15°C {59°F} higher than the temperature detected by ECT sensor No. 1 after engine start. The temperature detected by the engine oil temperature sensor after engine start is -25°C {-13°F} lower than the temperature detected by ECT sensor No. 1 after engine start. Precondition The following conditions are met: Period vehicle being left: 6 h or more Battery voltage: 8 V or more The following DTCs are not detected: Engine oil temperature sensor: P0197:00 and P0198:00 ECT sensor No. 1: P0117:00 and P0118:00
