DTC C112A-77: Incorrect Electric Parking Brake Motor Gear Unit Position [DSC HU/Cm]: Outline

System malfunction location Incorrect electric parking brake motor gear unit position
Detection condition
  • The DSC HU/CM detects any of the following conditions.
  • Operate/release positions of electric parking brake motor gear unit (LH) and (RH) do not correspond
    • Operate/release position of electric parking brake motor gear unit (LH) or (RH) is unknown
Fail-safe Refer to "DTC Table" and "Fail-safe Function Malfunction Contents Table". (See DTC TABLE [DSC HU/CM (US)] .)
Possible cause
NOTE:
  • If the negative battery terminal is disconnected during electric parking brake operation, this DTC may be output.
  • DSC HU/CM malfunction
