DTC P0532-00: Refrigerant Pressure Sensor No. 1 Circuit Low Input: Outline

DTC P0532:00 (PCM, SKYACTIV-G) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Refrigerant pressure sensor No. 1 circuit low input
Detection condition
  • The PCM monitors input voltage from the refrigerant pressure sensor No. 1. If the input voltage at the PCM terminal 2AV is below 0.168 V for 5 s, the PCM determines that the refrigerant pressure sensor No. 1 circuit has a malfunction.
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  • Refrigerant pressure sensor No. 1 connector or terminals malfunction
  • Short to ground in any of the following refrigerant pressure sensor No. 1 circuits.
    • Power supply circuit
      • Signal circuit
  • PCM connector or terminals malfunction
  • Short circuit in refrigerant pressure sensor No. 1 signal circuit and ground circuit
  • Open circuit in refrigerant pressure sensor No. 1 power supply circuit
  • Refrigerant pressure sensor No. 1 malfunction
  • PCM malfunction
