DTC B11EA-11: Rear Door Latch Switch (RH) Circuit Malfunction (BCM): Outline

DTC B11EA:11 (BCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Rear door latch switch (RH) circuit malfunction
Detection condition
  • The body control module (BCM) detects a short to ground in the rear door latch switch (RH) circuit for a continuous 2 times.

Preconditions
  • The rear door (RH) closed (rear door latch switch (RH) off).
Fail-safe Not applicable
Possible cause
  • Rear door latch and lock actuator (RH) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Rear door latch switch (RH) malfunction
  • Body control module (BCM) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to ground in rear door latch switch (RH) signal circuit
  • Body control module (BCM) malfunction
