DTC B11C4-23: Door Lock Switch (Liftgate)/Power Liftgate (PLG) Rear Switch Circuit Malfunction (BCM): Outline

DTC B11C4:23 (BCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Door lock switch (liftgate)/power liftgate (PLG) rear switch circuit malfunction
Detection condition
  • The LF control unit detects any of the following conditions.
  • The door lock switch (liftgate)/power liftgate (PLG) rear switch is continuously ON for 2 min or more.
    • The door lock switch (liftgate)/power liftgate (PLG) rear switch was ON 7 times.

Preconditions
  • The vehicle is being driven at 5 km/h {3 mph} or more.
Fail-safe Not applicable
Possible cause
  • Door lock switch (liftgate)/power liftgate (PLG) rear switch connector or terminal malfunction
  • LF control unit connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to ground in door lock switch (liftgate)/power liftgate (PLG) rear switch signal circuit
  • Door lock switch (liftgate)/power liftgate (PLG) rear switch malfunction
  • LF control unit malfunction
  • Body control module (BCM) malfunction
