DTC B1175-11: Front Door Latch Switch (Driver's Side) Circuit Malfunction (BCM) (Us): Outline

DTC B1175:11 (BCM) (US) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Front door latch switch (driver's side) circuit malfunction
Detection condition
  • The door-electrical supply unit (driver's side) detects a short to ground in the front door latch switch (driver's side) circuit for a continuous 2 times.

Preconditions
  • The front door (driver's side) closed (front door latch switch (driver's side) off).
Fail-safe Not applicable
Possible cause
  • Front door latch and lock actuator (driver's side) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Front door latch switch (driver's side) malfunction
  • Door-electrical supply unit (driver's side) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to ground in front door latch switch (driver's side) signal circuit
  • Door-electrical supply unit (driver's side) malfunction
  • Body control module (BCM) malfunction
