DTC B1131:87 (BCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Communication error with windshield wiper motor
Detection condition	The body control module (BCM) cannot receive the signals from the windshield wiper motor.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	Windshield wiper motor connector or terminal malfunction Body control module (BCM) connector or terminal malfunction Short to ground in windshield wiper motor LIN communication line Open circuit in windshield wiper motor LIN communication line Windshield wiper motor malfunction Body control module (BCM) malfunction
