Fuel Gauge Sender Unit (Sub)

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Remove the rear seat cushion. (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the screws.
- Remove the service hole cover.
- Disconnect the connector.

- Install the SST shown in the illustration.
- Remove the set plate component using the SST. (See SET PLATE COMPONENT INSTALLATION NOTE .)
- Remove the fuel gauge sender unit and packing.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
