With Parking Assist System: Outline

DTC U2132:00 (VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE - WITH PARKING ASSIST SYSTEM

System malfunction location Communication error with parking assist unit (optical)
Detection condition
  • The vehicle control module (VCM) cannot receive CAN signal from the parking assist unit (optical) for 10 s.
Fail-safe (See DTC TABLE [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE (US)] .)
Possible cause
  • Power is not supplied from vehicle control module (VCM) to parking assist unit (optical)
  • Malfunction in CAN communication line between vehicle control module (VCM) and parking assist unit (optical)
  • Parking assist unit (optical) malfunction
  • Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction
