GEAR POSITION INDICATION DOES NOT ILLUMINATE IN M POSITION (EV6A-EL, EV6AX-EL) DESCRIPTION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Troubleshooting item	Gear position indication does not illuminate in M position
Description	Gear position indication in instrument cluster does not illuminate in M position with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Possible cause	Instrument cluster malfunction NOTE: When the ATF temperature is 132°C {270°F} or more, gear fixing is inhibited, the gear position indication is turned off, and the control is changed to the automatic shift control.
