Front seat cushion

  1. Switch the ignition to off.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  3. Disconnect the passenger-side seat warmer unit connector.
  4. Inspect for continuity between the passenger-side seat warmer unit connector terminal 6A-1K (without driver-side power seat)/6A-6B (with driver-side power seat).

    • I not as indicated in the table, replace the front seat cushion pad.
  5. Measure the resistance between the passenger-side seat warmer unit connector terminals 2O and 2X (without driver-side power seat)/, 6C and 6D (with driver-side power seat), and verify that the condition is as indicated in the table.

    • If the thermistor characteristic is not as shown in the graph, replace the front seat cushion pad.
