With power seat system

  1. Remove the head restraint.
  2. Remove the front seat installation bolts. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
  3. Remove the front seat belt lower anchor. (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Perform the following procedure.
    1. Switch the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  5. Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
  6. Pull the power seat switch knobs in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and remove them while disengaging tabs.

  7. Disengage the tab from the front seat cushion frame.

  8. Move the front seat side cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration while disengaging the tabs from the reverse cover.

  9. Pull the front seat side cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and disengage the tabs and the clip.

  10. Disconnect the power seat switch connector.
  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
