Rear Housing Removal Note

  1. Remove the vacuum pump. (See VACUUM PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Disconnect the hose clips shown in the illustration.

  3. Remove the bracket shown in the illustration.

  4. Disconnect the exhaust CMP sensor connector.
  5. Remove the bolts shown in the illustration and set the bracket aside so that it does not interfere with the servicing.

  6. Remove the rear housing.
