Diagnostic Procedure

DTC U2300:55 [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT] DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Inspection Results Action
1 INSPECT BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) FOR MALFUNCTION
  • Perform the DTC inspection for body control module (BCM). (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Are any DTCs displayed?
Yes Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

No Go to the next step.
2 VERIFY REPLACEMENT RECORD OF DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT
  • Before performing the troubleshooting diagnostic procedure this time, verify if the dash-electrical supply unit was replaced.
  • Was the dash-electrical supply unit replaced?
Yes After re-implementing the required servicing when replacing the dash-electrical supply unit in accordance with dash-electrical supply unit removal/installation, perform the repair completion verification.

No Go to the next step.
3 RESET CONFIGURATION DATA FOR BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)
  • Perform the body control module (BCM) configuration using the M-MDS. (See CONFIGURATION .)
  • Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  • Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more.
  • Perform the DTC inspection for the dash-electrical supply unit. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Is the same Pending DTC present?
Yes Perform the body control module (BCM) configuration again using the M-MDS and perform the repair completion verification.
No Go to repair completion verification 2.
Repair completion verification 1 VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED
  • Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  • Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more.
  • Perform the DTC inspection for the dash-electrical supply unit. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Is the same Pending DTC present?
Yes Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.

If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
No Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification 2 VERIFY IF OTHER DTC IS DISPLAYED
  • Perform the DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No DTC troubleshooting completed.
