- The dash-electrical supply unit cannot receive the signals from the air intake actuator.

- Air intake actuator drive signal is stopped right when the malfunction is determined.

- Dash-electrical supply unit power supply circuit malfunction
- Air intake actuator connector or terminal malfunction
- Dash-electrical supply unit connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to ground in air intake actuator LIN communication line
- Short to power supply in air intake actuator LIN communication line
- Open circuit in air intake actuator LIN communication line
- Air intake actuator malfunction
- Dash-electrical supply unit malfunction
