Pressure Control Valve Removal/Installation (Us)

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove the main silencer. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
  3. Remove the insulator (rear). (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
  4. Disconnect the connector and wiring harness clip shown in the illustration.

  5. Disconnect the wiring harness clip as shown in the illustration.

  6. Disconnect the evaporative hose as shown in the illustration.

  7. Remove the pressure control valve installation bolt.

  8. Remove the charcoal canister (main) bracket installation nuts. (See CHARCOAL CANISTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
  9. Disconnect the quick release connector shown in the illustration while lowering the charcoal canister (main) component. (See QUICK RELEASE CONNECTOR (EMISSION SYSTEM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)

  10. Temporarily install the charcoal canister (main) bracket.
  11. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
  12. Install in the reverse order of removal.
