Front Wheel Hub Bolt Replacement (Us)

CAUTION:
- If the front ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness is pulled by mistake when performing this procedure, it could cause an open circuit. Before servicing, disconnect the front ABS wheel-speed sensor and set it aside so that the wiring harness will not be pulled by mistake.
- Remove the wheel and tire. (See WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the rubber from the bracket.
- Disconnect the front ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness on the steering knuckle and set it aside so that it does not interfere with the servicing.
- Remove the clip from the bracket.
- Remove the front brake hose from the bracket.
- Remove the front brake caliper component and suspend it in a place out of the way using a cable. (See FRONT BRAKE DISC REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
- Remove the front disc plate. (See FRONT BRAKE DISC REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
- Remove the front wheel hub bolt using the SST as shown in the illustration.
- Pass the new front wheel hub bolt through the wheel hub.
- Install the front wheel hub bolt by placing an appropriate-sized washer on the wheel hub and tightening the wheel nut as shown in the illustration.
