DTC B1142:14 (TELEMATICS COMMUNICATION UNIT) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Telematics communication unit power supply circuit (IG1) malfunction
Detection condition	The telematics communication unit detects an open circuit or a short to ground in the power supply circuit (IG1).
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	IG1 relay No. 2 malfunction DTCs are stored in the body control module (BCM). DTCs are stored in the PCM. Battery malfunction Generator malfunction Telematics communication unit connector or terminal malfunction Short to ground in telematics communication unit IG1 relay circuit Open circuit in telematics communication unit IG1 relay circuit Telematics communication unit malfunction
