Resistance Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove the KS. (See KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Measure the resistance between KS terminals A and B.
