How To Install The Owner's Manual Data Into Vehicle

NOTE: How To Download The OM Data

To obtain OM data, please ask Mazda distributor in your region.
Download the zip file to desktop.
Unzip it and confirm two files, [contents.tar] and [contents.sig].
Copy the two files to the root of USB memory stick.

Switch the ignition to ACC or ON (engine off or on) and the center display initial screen launches.
NOTE:
- Engine on is recommended if possible to avoid battery run out.

Insert the USB memory stick to the USB port.
Press the following buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds or more while pressing the VOLUME knob on the commander switch.
- FAVORITES button
- ENTERTAINMENT button

The diagnostic assist function initial screen is displayed on the center display and diagnostic assist function launches.
Select [Device Program Update] on the diagnostic assist function initial screen.

Select [Update] on the pop up screen.

Wait for approximately 60 seconds until the installation is completed.

Installation is completed. Remove the USB memory stick from the USB port.
NOTE:
- After 5 seconds, the center display is automatically changed to Update/Delete Owner's Manual Data screen.

Press BACK button and Device Update screen launches.

Press BACK button again and the diagnostic assist function initial screen launches.

Select [End Diag Mode] on the diagnostic assist function initial screen and wait for 10 seconds or more.

The diagnostic assist function ends and the center display initial screen launches.
Select [Information] [Owner's Manual] and confirm OM is displayed on the center display.
