Location of use: Rear side garnish

WARNING:

Using a utility knife with bare hands can cause injury. Always wear gloves when using a utility knife.

Affix protective tape to the position shown in the illustration.

Open the rear door.
Remove the fasteners A and B.

Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the illustration.

Move the tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and detach the clips starting from the vehicle rear while removing the double-sided adhesive tape.
Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the illustration.

Move the tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and detach the clips starting from the vehicle front.
Remove the rear side garnish.
Remove the clips remaining on the rear door and install them to the rear side garnish. 10. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See SIDE GARNISH INSTALLATION NOTE .)
