Rear Emblem: Notes

- Remove any grease or dirt from the emblem installation surface of the liftgate.
- Warm the emblem installation area to between 15°C {59°F} and 40°C {104°F} using a heat gun.
- Install the emblem to the position shown in the illustration.
- Press the emblem (LH) with a force of 49 N {5. 0 kgf, 11 lbf} or more so that the clearance between the emblem and the adhesion area of the emblem is 0.4 mm {0.02 in} or less.
- Press the emblem (RH) with a force of 49 N {5. 0 kgf, 11 lbf} or more so that the clearance between the emblem and the adhesion area of the emblem is 1.1 mm {0.043 in} or less.
