B-Pillar Upper Trim Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the front seat belt lower anchor. (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Partially peel back the seaming welt.

  3. Move the front seat belt adjuster in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and place it at the lowest position.

  4. Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the illustration, move it in the direction of the arrow and remove the hole cover.

  5. Remove the screw.

  6. Grasp the shaded areas shown in the illustration, and move the B-pillar upper trim in the order of arrows (1), (2) shown in the illustration, and remove it while detaching the clips, pins A, pins B, pins C, tabs, and hooks.

  7. Remove the B-pillar upper trim from the front seat belt.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
