Bracket, Front Drive Shaft (RH) Installation Note [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T]

CAUTION:
- The oil seal could be damaged at the end area of the front drive shaft. When installing the front drive shaft to the transaxle, be careful not to damage the oil seals. If the oil seal is damaged, replace it with a new one.
- If the bracket No. 2 nut is loosened, tighten the stud bolts for bracket No. 1 because they may loosen.
- Tighten the bracket No. 1 stud bolts.
- Temporarily tighten bolts A and B.
- Completely tighten the bolts in the order of A and B.
- Apply ATF to the oil seal lip.
- Insert the front drive shaft into the transaxle until the front drive shaft bearing contacts the bracket No. 1 stopper.
- After temporarily tightening nut C, and completely tighten it.
- Install the bolt.
- Apply grease (L2Y1 33247 or equivalent) to the wheel bearing inner race and front drive shaft contact surfaces (area A in the illustration).
- Insert the front drive shaft to the wheel hub.
