DTC P2090-00: OCV For Hydraulic Variable Valve Timing System Circuit Low Input (VIN M): Outline

DTC P2090:00 (PCM, SKYACTIV-G, WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	OCV for hydraulic variable valve timing system circuit low input
Detection condition	The OCV for hydraulic variable valve timing system control voltage relative to the PCM control is too low.
Fail-safe	Set the exhaust variable valve timing control to the maximum advanced position.
Possible cause	OCV for hydraulic variable valve timing system connector or terminals malfunction F12 15 A fuse malfunction Short to ground in OCV for hydraulic variable valve timing system power supply circuit Open circuit in OCV for hydraulic variable valve timing system power supply circuit Short to ground in OCV for hydraulic variable valve timing system control circuit PCM connector or terminals malfunction Open circuit in OCV for hydraulic variable valve timing system control circuit OCV for hydraulic variable valve timing system malfunction PCM malfunction
