DTC P18A0-00: Differential Oil Temperature Sensor - Low Input: Outline

DTC P18A0:00 (PCM, SKYACTIV-G) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Differential oil temperature sensor: Low input
Detection condition	The PCM detects a short to ground in the differential oil temperature sensor signal circuit.
Fail-safe	Inhibits the i-ACTIV AWD control.
Possible cause	Differential oil temperature sensor connector or terminals malfunction Differential oil temperature sensor malfunction Electrical supply unit (ESU) connector or terminals malfunction Short to ground in differential oil temperature sensor signal circuit Electrical supply unit (ESU) malfunction PCM malfunction
