DTC P189E-00: AWD Solenoid: Outline

DTC P189E:00 (PCM, SKYACTIV-G) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	AWD solenoid
Detection condition	The PCM detects an open circuit in the AWD solenoid control circuit.
Fail-safe	Inhibits the i-ACTIV AWD control.
Possible cause	Coupling component connector or terminals malfunction AWD solenoid malfunction Electrical supply unit (ESU) connector or terminals malfunction Open circuit in AWD solenoid control circuit Electrical supply unit (ESU) malfunction PCM malfunction
