Theft-Deterrent Horn Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove the Theft-deterrent horn. (See THEFT-DETERRENT HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Apply battery positive voltage to horn terminal A, and connect the horn retaining bolt to ground as shown in the illustration, and then verify that the horn sounds.
