Liftgate Lock Actuator Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove the liftgate latch and lock actuator. (See LIFTGATE LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to the liftgate latch and lock actuator terminals as indicated in the table below and verify the operation condition.
