Hood Latch Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
Disconnect the hood latch switch connector. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

NOTE:

Inspect the continuity when the hood is open and closed.

If the operation as indicated in the table cannot be verified, replace the hood latch. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
