DTC P0615:12 (BCM) (US) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- The body control module (BCM) detects that the starter relay circuit voltage is higher than the standard.
Preconditions
- The ignition switched off.

| Fail-safe |
- Inhibits switching the ignition ON (engine off or on).
- Inhibits the engine start.
|
| Possible cause |
- DTCs are stored in the PCM.
- Starter relay malfunction
- Body control module (BCM) connector or terminal malfunction
- PCM connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to power supply in starter relay monitor circuit or starter relay signal circuit
- PCM malfunction
- Body control module (BCM) malfunction
