DTC B152A-13: Power Liftgate (PLG) Drive Unit (RH) Motor Circuit Malfunction (BCM): Outline

DTC B152A:13 (BCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Power liftgate (PLG) drive unit (RH) motor circuit malfunction
Detection condition
  • Power liftgate (PLG) control module detected an open circuit in the power liftgate (PLG) drive unit (RH) circuit.

Preconditions
  • Power liftgate (PLG) drive unit motor is not operating.
Fail-safe
  • Stops the power liftgate (PLG) system operation.
Possible cause
  • Power liftgate (PLG) drive unit (RH) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Power liftgate (PLG) control module connector or terminal malfunction
  • Open circuit in power liftgate (PLG) drive unit (RH) signal circuit
  • Power liftgate (PLG) drive unit (RH) malfunction
  • Power liftgate (PLG) control module malfunction
  • Body control module (BCM) malfunction
