DTC B1514:86 (BCM) (US) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Collision signal error
Detection condition
  • The door-electrical supply unit (passenger's side) received error signal from Sophisticated Airbag Sensor (SAS) control module.
Fail-safe Not applicable
Possible cause
  • DTCs are stored in the Sophisticated Airbag Sensor (SAS) control module.
  • Sophisticated Airbag Sensor (SAS) control module connector or terminal malfunction
  • Door-electrical supply unit (passenger's side) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to ground in Sophisticated Airbag Sensor (SAS) control module signal circuit
  • Open circuit in Sophisticated Airbag Sensor (SAS) control module signal circuit
  • Sophisticated Airbag Sensor (SAS) control module malfunction
  • Door-electrical supply unit (passenger's side) malfunction
  • Body control module (BCM) malfunction
