DTC B1456-62: Latch Condition Malfunction (BCM): Outline

DTC B1456:62 (BCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Latch condition malfunction
Detection condition	The power liftgate (PLG) control module detects that the room light switch is off and half latch switch is on for 1 s or more.
Fail-safe	Stops the power liftgate (PLG) system operation.
Possible cause	Liftgate latch and lock actuator connector or terminal malfunction Open circuit in liftgate latch and lock actuator ground circuit Power liftgate (PLG) control module connector or terminal malfunction Short to ground in liftgate latch and lock actuator signal circuit Short to power supply in liftgate latch and lock actuator signal circuit Open circuit in liftgate latch and lock actuator signal circuit Liftgate latch and lock actuator malfunction Power liftgate (PLG) control module malfunction Body control module (BCM) malfunction
