TCM Configuration

NOTE:
  • The TCM is built into the control valve body.
  1. Verify TCM configuration implementation necessity for replacement parts.

    Control valve body replacement Necessary
    Oil pressure switch replacement Unnecessary
    Automatic transaxle replacement Necessary
    ON/OFF solenoid replacement Unnecessary
    Coupler component replacement Unnecessary
  2. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  3. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
  4. Perform vehicle identification.
  5. Select [Configuration] using the M-MDS.
  6. Select [TCM].
  7. Perform manual configuration following the instructions on the screen.
  8. Switch the ignition off.
  9. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) to complete the control valve body automatic configuration.
  10. Clear the DTC. (See CLEARING DTC .)
