Trunk Side Upper Trim Removal/Installation

Location use: Trunk side upper trim

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
2. Remove the rear package tray. (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Partially peel back the weatherstrip.
4. Pull the trunk side upper trim in the order of arrows (1), (2), and (3) shown in the figure, and remove it while detaching the clip and hooks.
5. Disconnect the cargo room light connector. (LH only)
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
   NOTE:

   • When replacing the trunk side upper trim, remove the cargo room light. (See CARGO COMPARTMENT LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
