Trunk End Trim Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove the trunk covering. (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the trunk board. (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
  4. Partially peel back the weatherstrip.

  5. Pull the trunk end trim in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), (2) shown in the figure while detaching tabs, clips, pins and guides.

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
