DTC B1B71-14: Evaporator Temperature Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Instrument Cluster): Notes

DTC B1 B71:14 (INSTRUMENT CLUSTER) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Evaporator temperature sensor circuit malfunction
Detection condition	The instrument cluster detected an open circuit or a short to ground in the evaporator temperature sensor circuit for 0.1 s or more with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	Evaporator temperature sensor connector or terminal malfunction Instrument cluster connector or terminal malfunction Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals: Instrument cluster terminal 2O-Evaporator temperature sensor terminal B Instrument cluster terminal 2P-Evaporator temperature sensor terminal A Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals: Instrument cluster terminal 2O-Evaporator temperature sensor terminal B Instrument cluster terminal 2P-Evaporator temperature sensor terminal A Evaporator temperature sensor malfunction Instrument cluster malfunction
