Fuel Gauge Sender Unit Inspection [2WD]

NOTE:

For the fuel gauge sender unit removal/installation, refer to the fuel pump disassembly/assembly because the fuel gauge sender unit is integrated with the fuel pump. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY [SKYACTIV-G (VIN M)] .) (See FUEL PUMP UNIT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY [SKYACTIV-G (VIN Y)] .)

Verify that the resistance at fuel gauge sender unit terminals D and C is as follows according to the height of the float.

Resistance when float is in the highest position

Resistance when float is in the lowest position

197-203 Ω
