Upper Panel Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Open the console lid.
  3. Move the upper panel component in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and detach the clips, hooks, and guides.

  4. Insert a hand at the back of the upper panel and detach the clip at the position shown in the illustration, and remove the upper panel from the console-up.

  5. When removing the console-up, perform the following procedure:
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the console-up.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
