DTC U0422:68 (INSTRUMENT CLUSTER) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM) DTCs Retrieve the front body control module (FBCM) DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM)] .) Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM)] .)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	PERFORM DTC INSPECTION AND VERIFY FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM) MALFUNCTION Clear the DTC for the instrument cluster using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC (INSTRUMENT CLUSTER) .) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 20 s or more. Retrieve the instrument cluster DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION (INSTRUMENT CLUSTER) .) Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Replace the front body control module (FBCM), then go to the next step. (See FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2		No	Go to Step 4.
3	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Clear the DTC for the instrument cluster using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC (INSTRUMENT CLUSTER) .) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 20 s or more. Retrieve the instrument cluster DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION (INSTRUMENT CLUSTER) .) Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) Go to the next step.
3		No	Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE (INSTRUMENT CLUSTER) .)
4		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
