Hazard Warning Switch Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Meter hood cover (See METER HOOD COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Audio panel (See AUDIO PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Center panel (See CENTER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. While pressing the hazard warning switch tabs in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure below, press the hazard warning switch in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure below to detach the hazard warning switch tabs from the decoration panel (passenger-side).

  4. Remove the hazard warning switch.

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
